Windskore

Windskore is an independent game studio that builds worlds where creativity, freedom and technology meet. We create games, tools and digital experiences with the goal of making game development more vibrant, more playful and more accessible.

What started as an idea has grown into a project where we explore everything from game worlds in Unreal Engine 5 to our own platforms, systems and ideas that push what small studios can achieve.

Windskore is based in Hedemora, Dalarna, Sweden, where the company was founded and continues to develop its games and technical projects.

Windskore was founded by Karl Adrian Munter from Hedemora, Dalarna.

With a strong interest in game development, programming and technology, Karl Adrian Munter started Windskore on August 7, 2023. Since then, Windskore has grown from smaller projects into a studio with ambitions in games, technology and digital experiences.

We don't believe that great games are only about graphics or scale. They are about feeling. About a world that feels alive even when you're not looking at it.

Windskore wants to create games where the player doesn't just follow a story, but influences it, shapes it, and sometimes even breaks it.

Windskore was started on August 7, 2023 by Karl Adrian Munter in Hedemora, Dalarna. Since then, Windskore has grown from small projects to more ambitious game ideas and systems. Every project is a step toward something bigger, where we learn, test and build further.

We want to continue developing games that feel different. Games that dare to experiment. And most importantly: games that players remember.
